On Monday a group of our Year 8 girls and boys competed in the upper Hume soccer competition against 5 other schools in the region.

The girls started their first game off against a School from Wangaratta, they had a great start to the day with a win of 4-0 with Maree Matthew kicking a number of goals.
In their second gam, they came up against a very competitive team who they unfortunately went down in the last seconds of the game 2-3, again with Maree Matthew kicking the goals.
The team was in a race for 3rd place, they finished off with a win 4-1. With Maree Matthew, Giaan Beard and Ashton Sadington kicking the goals. The team placed 3rd overall for the day.

The College and the team would like to thank Kirsten Farquhar for coaching them and organising their team for the day, as well as Year 7 student Jay Barker from who put his hand up to referee on the day,well done to all who participated on the day.
