On Friday October 18th, a group of WMYC students travelled to Melbourne for the Secondary Schools State Athletics Championships. They were Hayley Star (competing in the relay and long jump), Salli Halloway (competing in the relay), Malia Scott (competing in the relay), Clio Waldegrave Knight (competing in the relay and discus), and Hannah Thornber (competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump).
Well done to all the girls for making it this far and for the amazing effort put in on the day. Thankyou to Deb Star for driving the bus down to Melbourne.
