Over the last week our HOLP team assisted in making nest boxes for the Wises Creek Talgarno Landcare Group, with the aim of installing the boxes and seeing if rare species of possums are in the area. As part of the process on Monday our HOLP team travelled to Baranduda where there has been boxes previously set up for students to view and use as examples, students used a pole camera to view into the boxes and see which types of possums are living inside. Later the team travel to Talgarno and installed the boxes on trees close to the roadside as well as marking them out using grid references for later examination.
