WMYC is partnering with Centre Against Violence (CAV) during Week 8 to deliver workshops focused on respectful behaviour, consent, communication, and personal boundaries.
The workshops are designed to support students to build knowledge and practical skills around respectful relationships, body autonomy, help-seeking, and safe peer interactions in age-appropriate and engaging ways.
The 1-hour sessions will be delivered to year level cohorts across all campuses.
Topics explored throughout the series include:
- Respectful relationships and communication
- Consent and personal boundaries
- Recognising safe and unsafe behaviours
- Peer pressure and bystander support
- Help-seeking and support services
The content has been developed for middle years students and aligns with the Victorian Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships curriculum.
