Wodonga Middle Years College is opening its doors for our ‘On Show’ event, on Thursday March 23.
This is your opportunity to tour our Huon and Felltimber campuses, explore our classrooms and specialist facilities to support your Middle Years education from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
Then at 7pm, you can join our College leaders online for our information session and live Q&A, where we will be answering your questions.
We’ll see you at our campuses from 3:30pm and then online at 7pm when we’re ‘On Show’, Thursday March 23.

Campus Tours

Wodonga Middle Years College has age-appropriate teaching and learning facilities. The best way to see and experience these facilities is to participate in a personalised Campus tour. While touring the College, you will also be able to appreciate the supportive and aspirational culture of the Middle Years College. A tour is also an excellent opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the College.

Campus Tours will be operating from 3.30pm to 5.00pm on Thursday March 23. So take this opportunity to explore our classrooms and specialist facilities to support your Middle Years Education.

Year 6 – 7 Transition

Transitioning to a secondary school is an important step in a child’s educational journey. Wodonga Middle Years College hopes the information on this page will assist you in making your decision about which secondary school best suits the learning and developmental needs of your child.

Academic Advancement Program

The Academic Advancement Program is an accelerated learning program designed to support achievement for students with high educational aspirations. Our aim is to have all students who participate in the program to achieve their learning goals in a supportive yet challenging environment. Students that are highly motivated and have strong academic results are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Academic Advancement Program.

Phillip Island Camp

The Year 8 students head off on their Phillip Island adventure camp next week.

Felltimber students leave on Monday 13th November from the Emerald Avenue bus stop and return Wednesday 15th November to the same area.

Huon students leave on Wednesday 15th november from the Wilson Street Bus stop and return on Friday 17th November to the same area.

Parents are asked to have their child at the bus stop no later than 6.15am to be ready for a strict 6.30am departure. A packed lunch will need to be provided for the first day.

Attached is the itinerary and list of what to bring. Please note sleeping bags are not required as all bedding is supplied.

Those students not attending the camp are expected at school for normal classes.

Literacy Interviews for new Year 7 families in 2018

Applicants for the Year 7 2018 Literacy program will need to attend an interview on either Wednesday 23^rd August at Huon or 31^st August Thursday at Felltimber.

Sock it to us! Fundraiser

Part of our Year 9 World of Work program is to complete an impact project. Our impact project, ‘Sock It To Us’ aims to raise money to buy new socks for the less fortunate in Albury/Wodonga region. Across both campuses we will be doing a range of different fundraisers such as the Jelly Bean Guessing Jar, funds from The Café, drop boxes and donations tins. During week two of the term, all purchases from the Café will receive a free cookie and the Jelly Bean Guessing Jar will be out the front.

All donations raised will be distributed by Carevan to fight the winter blues for those less fortunate.

Athletics Day

Friday the 24th March is the College’s Athletics Day at the Wodonga Athletics track (Pearce St, Wodonga) across from Whitebox rise.

All students are expected to attend and are encouraged to dress up in their house colours with points being awarded as follows: 1 point for wearing house colour and 2 points for a fancy dress in your house colour.

Student Orientation Interviews

A Team teachers look forward to meeting with you on Monday 20 February at 3:30 to 7:00pm to get to know you and share information about your child.
This is an important time so that we can meet with every family and build lasting relationships with you to support the academic growth and wellbeing of each child.
It is also a time to explain the House system, show you the parent portal on the learning management system, and discuss the exciting things happening in 2017.
A Team teachers may also be available at other times during the week of Monday 20 – Friday 24 February, if required. Please check their availability on the online booking system at

2017 Japanese Trip Information Night

On Tuesday 9th August an information evening will be held for those student interested in traveling to Japan for a two week tour in November 2017.

All students interested are welcome to attend. The information evening will be held in the Huon Campus library from 5.30pm.
